La Plume noire, librairie de l’UCL à Lyon, a été attaquée le samedi 20 mars par un commando fasciste. C’est une attaque contre toute l’UCL, mais, au-delà, contre toutes les forces de progrès et contre notre camp social. Une attaque qui s’inscrit dans un climat nauséabond où les polémiques racistes s’enchaînent dans les médias, impulsées du plus haut sommet de l’État.

L’UCL a pris l’initiative d’un #appel national de soutien, large et unitaire, qui a reçu de nombreuses signatures de syndicats, d’organisations et partis politiques, d’associations et de collectifs. I want you actually SHOW black lives that they matter while they're alive.

Imagine a Native American community who had a Disneyland-like resort built over their villages and ancestor's graves, the people made to do bastardizations of their sacred dances, wear mock 'sexy feather headresses' and entertain the rich tourists for starvation wages, 12 hours a day 7 days a week, living sardine-packed 20-to-a-house. And then be arrested for speaking their own language. It'd be an outrage, right? But that is just everyday life, in US-colonized Hawaii
